Flexible Hybrid – Work from Anywhere in Sweden 🇸🇪, with the possibility to work from our Stockholm office occasionally 📍

Part-time Role – Approximately two days per week to start, with the flexibility to combine with other consultancy work, as long as it doesn’t involve competing businesses.

Equity-based Remuneration (to start) – This means compensation will primarily be in the form of equity (ownership shares) until further funding is secured.

About Us

At MeWe&You®, we are on a mission to revolutionize how women navigate peri/menopause. Over 1 billion women are in menopause today, and during the years leading up to it, many experience symptoms that disrupt their daily lives—with little to no support available.

We are here to change that. Using advanced technology, our app offers personalized solutions to match women with activities that reduce symptoms and improve well-being—at home, at work, and beyond, while also providing employers with tools to better support their workforce.

This is an incredibly exciting time for us: we have just launched our first version of the app on App Store and Google Play! We are looking for a CTO/Tech Lead to join us at this pivotal moment and shape the future of our platform and its impact on women globally.

The Role

As our new CTO/Tech Lead, you’ll play a key role in bringing our vision to life. This is a part-time position to start (approximately two days per week) with the flexibility to combine it with other consultancy work, as long as it doesn’t involve competing businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

•       Design, develop, and maintain robust, reliable, and scalable solutions using the latest technologies.

•       Collaborate with the CEO and team to transform user feedback and business objectives into actionable technical roadmaps.

•       Oversee external development partners and consultants.

•       Code and troubleshoot when necessary, driving technical innovation.

•       Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve the platform continuously.

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a passion for innovation and growth in an early-stage startup.

Requirements:

•       Solid experience in full-stack software development, ideally including Flutter for iOS and Android apps.

•       A strong foundation in C#, .NET, and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with Rust or a strong willingness to work with Rust-based backend services.

•       Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Google Firebase, Crashlytics, and API technologies (e.g., REST, JSON, HTTPS).

•       Experience working in a startup environment or similar, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

•       A startup mindset, including a hands-on approach, resourcefulness, and a passion for building innovative solutions from the ground up.

•       A user-centered approach to product development and an openness to agile development practices. 

•       Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, such as AI (machine learning, LLMs, AGIs and advanced UX design).

•       A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and explore new tech solutions.

•       Fluent in English; proficiency in Swedish is a plus.

Nice-to-Have:

•       Prior experience as a Tech Lead or CTO in a startup.

•       Passion for women’s health and FemTech innovation.

•       Familiarity with scaling apps in the early stages of a company.

•       Experience working in cross-functional teams or with remote teams.

•       Interest in building inclusive and sustainable technology solutions.

 Residency Requirements
